A contest sounds fun... I'll think about how it will work out c: Contest ideas would be nice too. While I'd love to have paintchat up... my ip address changed of course and I re setup the whole thing which I have to work with my router to accept any changes. xD' Just be patient and just doodle on the oekaki. Oekaki Rules
Please read the rules before joining. It'll help everyone in the long run. If you have any questions, feel free to oe-mail an admin!

1. Give constructive crits and respect those who do not want it.
2. No adult themes please. If you are drawing something gory, please make sure it's nothing to excessive.
3. Please put effort into your pictures. Try to spend around 20-40 minutes on one. Regarding spam, please spend at least more than 15 minutes in a non-animated applet. Thanks.
4. Please do not ask to become an admin or get a archive. (However, if we see fit, we'll add you to the administration or give you a archive.)
5. No more than 3 pictures per day per page. Give another person a chance.
6. If someone is causing you trouble, please contact a admin. :3 We don't need any drama to start up.

This is just something really small that I ask of the members here.

We currently have only 3 templates hand made and the rest have the templates that were thrown at us at setup.

What I am thinking is that we can edit all the premade templates and add backgrounds to it. Not only will the templates not be boring, but you can enjoy the template as well and use it!

I'll put Author credit too.

There are no requirements for this, all that you should just be aware that:

-These don't have a theme. Go wild.
-Tile works so much better than just one huge image.
-To make the background actually work so that it doesn't show lines is to make a pattern or design that stays stuck in the middle [Like Gato's background]
-This does not have to be made on the oekaki.
+++True, it'd be nice to see what the oekaki can do, but it doesn't have to be.

Oemail me your results. In the end if I collect enough I can do a change every so often [not too often DD: You're killing Ari here.] that everyones background will be shown.

I am still deciding on it. Just go make some backgrounds! Have fun!

The shading goes well with the fireworks as the light source.
Annnnnd the perspective from the back of Frostail looks awesome. It's hard to do that in my opinion.

The lineless style here is cute. x3 Reminds me of Mickey Mouse some reason - which is a good thing. :3
